Strollers & Car Seats
For the safety of our guests, Fairchild Cinemas does not allow strollers or car seats to be taken into the auditoriums. Both these items are safety concerns in a darkened theater. Please make arrangements to leave these items in your car or with box office personnel.
Outside Food & Drink
No outside food or drink is permitted in the theater.
Rated R Films
Fairchild Cinemas does not sell tickets to any person under the age of 17 for rated R films. Anyone purchasing tickets for persons under the age of 17 must be at least 21. That person must also attend the movie with the underaged person.
Tickets for R rated movies that are purchased online are subject to review by theater personnel. Fairchild Cinemas reserves the right to refuse admittance for people that appear underage that are unable to present photo identification.
Backpacks, Packages, & Large Bags
With safety being our top priority, our general rule regarding backpacks, packages, and large bags of any kind is that they are subject to inspection. We understand that this practice may cause some inconvenience and that it is not without flaws, but hope these are minor in comparison to increased safety.
Service Animals
Fairchild Cinemas abides by the regulations set forth by the ADA. Service animals that adhere to the same regulations are allowed into our theaters. Comfort animals do not fall under the same regulations and are not allowed in our theaters. If you have questions regarding the law, please visit the American Disability Act website.
Costumes With Masks & Props
The safety of our guests is our top priority. Because of this, we cannot allow guests of any age to wear masks, face paint, or anything that obscures the face. (Masks for health reasons are an exception.)
Weapons
The safety of our staff and guests is important to us. As a private business, we prohibit open carrying and/or the display of weapons of any kind, real or fake.
Skateboards, Hoverboards, & Scooters
For the safety of guests, we cannot allow skateboards, hoverboards, or scooters inside the theater. These recreational transportation boards can be a safety hazard when introduced into the theater environment. In addition, management and employees should never hold any such items for the guest and will ask the guest to remove them from the theater entirely.
Lost & Found
Fairchild Cinemas is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. Before leaving the auditorium, please check around your seat for any personal belongings. For assistance, contact a staff member.
Piracy
Recording any movie inside the theater is illegal. No recording devices (cell phones, cameras, video recorders, sound recorders, etc.) are permitted to be used within any Fairchild Cinemas location. Individuals caught recording are subject to prosecution by the studio and/or MPA and will be asked to leave the theater immediately.
Cell Phones
In consideration of all our guests, Fairchild Cinemas asks that you please refrain from using cell phones, tablets, or any other personal communication device while inside an auditorium.
Smoking
Washington State law prohibits the use of any cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or cigars inside public buildings. Those wishing to smoke must do so outside and must be at least 25 feet from a public entrance or exit.
Sorry, strollers and car seats are not allowed inside the auditoriums.
